Saturday 5th November, at Tongariro Lodge with Tim Rajeef talking about his Echo Rods, casting instruction etc thoroughly enjoyed by all,  dispelling a lot of the myth around fly rods , great to see the maker put his products where his mouth is.

There was a selection of fly rods, Spey rods double and single handed, Euro nymph rods, New Fibreglass Rods, Salt water Rods, demonstrations, the anatomy of a fly rod ( several were broken on purpose to demonstrate various aspects).

I have said before, do not be sucked in because of a Rods Brand or price tag, price does not dictate the best Rod.

 We stand behind Echo Rods and would happily use any model they have.
