These things are brutal to cast but totally brutal on the fish, so in short, they are an awesome product and well worth adding to your kit.
The idea is to loop one of these onto the end of a Skagit head, and as both the Skagit head and custom cut tip are fitted with welded loops, it is really easy to pop one on and/or off. Better still, you can customise your custom cut tip (that's the custom part).
What you do is have a bunch of tips that sink at different rates, then depending on what pool you're fishing, you chop and change the tip. The best way to store these is on the C&F Design Shooting Head Dispenser. It's an easy system to work with and will turn your double hander into a fishing machine.
FLO Tips offer a tapered butt of 2.5 ft of Intermediate sink tipped with 7.5 ft of T-Sink level tungsten line.
